“5YRS sourcing plan for a 150mio sportswear brand, mainly distributed in Europe by a big corporation. Production was primarly located in China with strong limitation in margin (not in line with the corporation targets), quality and product creativity.
After a deep analysis of the production trends, it has been provided a plan with a clear indication to move the production from outsourcing in China towards Mediterranean areas or Vietnam / Indonesia for specific high marginality products.
The project took in consideration changing the distribution channels by producing dedicated packages and SMUs outside the standard planning calendar.
A comparative analysis from China VS alternative production areas has been edit: east Europe, EMEA, Maghreb, Italy and UK.”
